He delivers his information from the trenches and draws from his diverse background in online advertising, digital design and internet sales. His insight comes from managing the internet sales and marketing for Simmons Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in Oklahoma. The program he created was the first in his market and the information, statistics and strategies he presents are the result of his direct experience as an Online Sales Counselor since 2005. Mike speaks with authority about the conversion rates a builder can expect and best practices that will boost sales from internet leads. Mike is the author of Browsers to Buyers: Proven Strategies for Selling New Homes Online.

 Fernando Laullon and his panel will discuss a variety of emerging architectural, interior and landscape design trends resulting from the current state of the market. In addition, the experts will present an integrated design approach and discuss the changing role and relationship between architects and builders.
ABOUT FERNANDO A licensed architect with over 20 years of experience, Fernando Laullon is a Senior Principal-in-Charge of the Architectural Production Department at William Hezmalhalch Architects and oversees all phases of project development. Fernando Laullon has a thorough understanding of all phases of architecture from conceptual programming through the construction administration phase. Fernando is in charge of the sustainability efforts at WHA and recently became a Certified Green Building Professional (CGBP). His experience includes the development of numerous housing projects, recreational clubhouses, medical facilities, as well as commercial, industrial and hospitality properties throughout the United States. He earned his Bachelor’s of Architecture in 1985 from California State Polytechnic University, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
SESSION 3: "90 WAYS TO REDUCE COSTS IN 90 MINUTES" with BRIAN JUEDES & A PANEL OF EXPERTS

 Brian Juedes offers an overview of 90 different ways to reduce costs based on value engineering principles. Presented by a Registered Architect and Engineer specializing in residential construction and supported by a panel of experts including geotechnical and structural engineers as well as several high impact trade disciplines. The value engineered cost saving suggestions cover the full spectrum of residential construction, from “dirt to delivery”. The presentation will conclude with a question and answer session for the panel of experts where the audience members can get more information on specific cost saving suggestions.
ABOUT BRIAN Brian Juedes received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, and for 22 years he has served in a variety of capacities throughout his career that have made him an expert in his field. His titles have included Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer and Structural Engineer for such companies as Computerized Structural Design, Inc.; Weintraub Organization; and Shea Homes respectively. He has designed commercial, institutional, and residential buildings and has been involved in the design of rack storage buildings, space frames, bin and tank support systems, specialty wood stairs and aluminum skylight structures. He is currently the Senior Vice President of the residential design firm, Felten Group, Inc., where he performs and oversees gravity and lateral load structural designs for the Engineering Department; prepares office design aids, standard details and standard calculations; participates in forensic investigations; and oversees the Architectural Department in the production and design of custom homes. Mr. Juedes is registered as a Professional Engineer in Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and California. In addition, he is a registered Architect in Wisconsin and Arizona.
